Compassionate Counsel, Tough Advocates

Princeton, New Jersey, Attorneys

At Hanan M. Isaacs, P.C., we provide our clients with two essential services: compassionate counsel and tough advocacy. Many clients of our family law and employment law practice have experienced trauma before we see them, and every client we serve faces serious financial and emotional risks. Our attorneys are sensitive to the highly personal and emotional nature of our clients' issues and counsel them accordingly. But when representing those clients in negotiations or at trial, our lawyers are unwavering in their determination to protect our clients' interests.

Over 25 years of service

Since 1981, our firm has served clients throughout South Jersey and Central Jersey from offices in Princeton. We remain a small firm by choice, handling only a few very large cases at any time. This allows us to provide every client with the focused attention necessary for effective representation and the personal service our clients expect while responding flexibly and swiftly to developments.

Access to top experts

When our attorneys feel a client will benefit from the services of a legal specialist, we are free to call on the best lawyer in that field to serve as a member of our team. In a similar situation, an attorney from a large firm would be restricted to that firm's pool of legal talent. In a recent case, our strong professional relationships made it possible for us to acquire, on extremely short notice, expert opinions from well-respected attorneys to support our client's case. Similarly, our attorneys regularly consult with outstanding experts in fields such as certified public accountancy, psychology, certified property appraisal, and information technology.

Our legal practice

  • Family law: Divorce and dissolution of civil unions, child custody and support, relocation/removal, equitable distribution of combined assets, alimony, adoption, prenuptial agreements and other domestic law services
  • Employment law: Claims involving employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, disciplinary actions, grievances, ERISA and other employment-related issues
  • Civil litigation: Business and commercial litigation, real estate disputes, claims of insurance bad faith, personal injury lawsuits and other civil matters
  • Alternative dispute resolution (ADR): Attorney Hanan Isaacs is well respected for his work as a mediator and arbitrator, and serves as an instructor, lecturer and author on these topics.
  • DUI and municipal court: As a service to clients, our lawyers provide defense representation in municipal court matters, including DUI/DWI, disorderly persons offenses and traffic charges.

If you would like to speak to a member of our firm regarding your legal issue, or have any other question about our practice, please contact our office to arrange a consultation. We accept credit cards and offer general appointments from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, plus evening appointments during the week by pre-arrangement only.
